Born and raised in the rainy North of England, we are two men shaped by working-class roots, terraced house landscapes, and a lifetime spent out of doors. Our story began where the skies are grey and the weather is unforgiving — where you learn early that clothing must earn its place on your back.We grew up with a passion for the outdoors, for sport, and for every adventure that life throws your way. Inspiration wasn’t found in glossy magazines or crowded shop floors — it came straight from experience: long days outside, hard-won lessons, and the quiet pride of making something that lasts. 

We loved designing and crafting coats and outdoor wear, but we grew tired of the same thing everywhere we looked — mass-produced garments, identical brands, everyone wearing exactly the same gear.

That’s where 500 Elusive was born.

We wanted something different — robust, elite garments built to stand up to real weather, yet smart, fashionable, and truly eye-catching. We refused to churn out thousands of identical pieces. Instead, we set out to create something rare: clothing that feels special, that stands apart, that lets you be you. 

There’s nothing worse than walking into an event and seeing everyone wearing the same label, the same coat, the same look. 

We wanted our community — our customers — to feel unique, to feel extraordinary, every single time they step out.We don’t follow the crowd. Maybe we’ll even become the black sheep of the industry — who knows?
